I am so proud to announce that I recently was able to do a Mime with my 9 year old son Dominic. He was so nervous but excited. As I explained that he might change someone's life tonight his comment was. A kid can make a difference ya know. He made my heart smile and I know his intensity and passion showed in his mime. He was awesome. I love the fact that he is ready to do more mimes. He is such a sweet kid. This was my first mime in a very long time. Probably a year or more. Its funny because at the time last year I wasn't at a particular church and some felt that since my ministry wasn't under a "church covering" that they didn't want to be a part of it. This type of thinking limits God's use for us. If we stay confined to be under a human covering then we are very wrong. Ministry should be a part of everyday life and not confined to church walls. It should be for outside the church as well as in side the church. Anyways if God can use a donkey who wasn't under a church covering then he can use me. LOL anyways. God is good despite our human ways. The song my son and I did was called We Fall Down. Its a very encouraging song. One of the main verses says for a sinner is just a saint who fell down and got back up. The point is we all fall down, we all have hard times, we all struggle with life, not matter if we are pastors, teachers, dancers, mimers, etc. Its that we get back up again and keep going. We must get up and keep going despite the nay sayers. Its not the nay sayers your ministry is for. Anyways God is good and I look forward to more ministry opportunities in he future.

Seasons of Silence.

I am excited that I get the opportunity to teach mime at the up coming dance it out ministries workshop this weekend. I have prayed and thought long and hard about this ministry and where I want to take the called to silence ministry. I believe that this is a great opportunity to branch out and jump start this ministry that God has placed on my plate.

I am going to be opening eyes to Mime ministry and the possibilities of what mime ministry can do and can become in the church and outside the church. Its exciting to see where God can take it and what God can do with it.

Mime ministry is a what to get peoples attention with out speaking one word.

Spreading our Wings

Great News!!! Called to Silence Mime Ministry will be branching out on its own. God has lead us to move outside of the things of old and put on new wineskins and share the love of Jesus for the purpose of Glorifying Jesus. We hope to be doing lots of spontaneous Miming in and around Louisville area as well as doing songs at events and for churches. Our passion is to share the Love of Jesus any where and every where God leads us. Even if you see us standing on a street corner. Simply stating that Jesus Loves you. We want to be be where the people are. Makem laugh, walls fall, then they are able to hear what God is speaking to them. If you want to be a apart of CTS, or Partner with CTS, or host us at your special event, party, carnival, church, etc please contact Me, Anna Garcia for more information @ calledtosilence@gmail.com.

Can't make it without you!

So lots of changes been happening over the last couple weeks and months. Needless to say we haven't ministered in quite sometime. God has literally called me to silence because of what he wants me to hear. I'm not sure at this point what exactly that I am suppose to be hearing but I know that he is saying be still and quiet for when I speak I want you to hear what I am going to say to you.

I have been waitin on God because I definitely don't want to make any moves out of what God wants to take place. We were asked to do a mime at the awakening service the college and career young adult ministry at the church. Yes of course I said but also feeling a weight because are last ministry was back in December. My only other fellow mimed in the called to silence mime ministry Eric henry practiced and discussed what song to do and this song came back to us. I found it on a whim and this was the last one we did, but made for 4 people. As we stepped on stage to do this song. Somethings happened God was there and then he took it to another level. definitely the best mime we have done. Don't know if it helped anyone or not but I sure known that it was instrumental in helping me to keep stepping in the silence of my mind and stay that way till I'm given further instructions on what I am suppose to be doing.:p

Prepare for battle!

So in this day and age we need to take up the full Armor of God and step out into faith and know that God is real and that he is moving. These are the last days we are living in and its important that we seek God more and more everyday so that we can share the love of Christ where ever we go. Its not about what our outward appreance looks like but its about knowing the love of Jesus covers all and we only need to look to him for approval and no one else's opinion matters but his. When we walk in his steps no man will understand because our steps in him or not their steps in him. This new mime is going to be a really awesome encouraging people to put on the full Armor of God and be ready to fight for his cause and call on your life.
For me its in the silence that I speak his words.

Ephesians 6:10-19

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
